fill in the blank friday

Link up at The Little Things We Do ! Oh, I know it's not Friday...
But this is my blog and I've decided everyday is Friday here in Blogland!

1. One of life's most simple pleasures is       watching a movie with a bottle of wine cuddling in the sofa with my husband  .

2.      Those passive aggressive Facebook status updates (the one you know are directed at someone in particular)   makes me want to punch someone. C'mon! Really, dude?? What are you, five?? (Jami, you actually put my very thoughts into words here)

3. I like   rainy days   because    that's when I feel more introspective .

4.    Gazebo    is a funny word.

5. If I had to choose one beauty product to use for the rest of eternity it would be      hmm... let me think... just give me one more minute...

6.  I'm happy that    I have a job, particularly now with the economy as it is     .

7.  I would never   , ever go skydiving unless my life absolutely depended on it. I don't have vertigo; I just treasure my life enough not to put it in jeopardy like that. Just the thought of it is frightening enough for me. Call me a coward! I don't care   .

  5. You would never go skydiving?! I would again in a heart beat. It wasn't nearly as death defying as I had thought it would be. Bungee jumping, now that is something I'd never do. You're basically relying on rubber bands to stay alive! Terrifying.

:) Just stopping by from Fill in the Blank Friday! Feel free to stop by my blog; I'm hosting a giveaway! Check it out here!

I'm happy to have a job too, even if it's not what I want to be doing at all! It's something to help me continue to live life.

  13. So, you like rainy days? I wrote a song about how I longed to appreciate rainy days more, because usually, I just hate when my stuff gets wet.

You have a really nice blog and it is very friendly.

  14. I do so agree with the rainy days. I usually don't mind them at all, unless I have to go to school and risk ending up all soaking wet before I'm even there. That happens a lot here where I live: it's Bergen which I see you've visited!

You'r writing here is so lovely and different, and I get the impression that we both think the same way! I'm your new follower on twitter, so I'm going to pop by to see whether you've posted some new photos of your trip!

Btw: I LOVE Spain and the Spanish people! Have a delightful Sunday!!

  15. Hey, Tree! I'm so glad you stopped by! And yeah, rainy days rock - I love them, particularly when I'm at home quietly watching it from the window. May I read those lyrics?

Halina, Bergen is amazing!! I loved it there, and I'd come back every year if things were not so freakin expensive there :P It's truly one of the most beautiful places I've been to and I'm sure you must have met many Spanish people there. There are hundreds of them working in Bergen!

Thank you all for the visit!

  16. Thanks for the reply! There are a lot of Spanish people working here, and YES it's to expensive for foreigners... It's terrible I think for the tourism, but there isn't much one can do with the prices... it's because of the petroleum industry.

I'm actually renting my dorm room until 1st of Sept to a Spanish girl working here. She is so nice :) Spanish people are the kindest!

  17. Well, when I was there it seemed the city was taken over by tourists. So I wonder what would happen if the prices were not that high! :P

The truth is Norway and Sweden are so beautiful and unique... I'm passionate about the Scandinavian culture. I'm curious about how one can live through its winters and really.. there is nothing more magical than feeling you're on the top of the world! Those forests are like.. something I had only seen on tv documentaries before... Our trip was not even over and we're already planning to go back.

  18. Oh how I hate those passive aggressive facebook statuses too! I find it really immature and attention-seeking--I mean, hello dude, this is a social networking site, why do you have to let the whole world know???

I'm definitely a follower now! I love your blog! :-)

  19. Nope. Skydiving is out for this girl too. I have trouble jumping off the rope swing at the lake!

  20. I love your skydiving answer. I have qualms about it to, but my biggest reason for not doing it is that I always seem to be that 1 person out of 100/1000/10000 that something bad happens to!

Thanks for stopping by my blog!

  21. Hey, Meg! Thanks for stopping by!
I guess the fear of skydiving is a perfectly healthy feeling, you know... the fear of smashing into the ground. :)

  22. Hey just showing some love, saw you posted on my blog! Thank you! :)
